At this event, Neubauer Collegium Curator Dieter Roelstraete will provide a close look at the Collegium’s fall exhibition, Love Bless America, featuring new work by French artist Pierre Bismuth. Roelstraete will speak about the process behind the exhibition’s centerpiece: a long-form meditative film documenting the creative collaboration between Joshua Abrams and Sharon Udoh, two leading figures from Chicago’s jazz and improvised music scene. The event will include a screening of an excerpt from the film, and a reception will follow.
