Biography
Dr. Asim Farooq is a busy cornea specialist, ophthalmological surgeon, and clinical trialist. In addition to his clinical practice, he is the Director of Medical Student Education and Vice Chair of Academic Affairs for the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. As such, he is responsible for the academic advancement of medical students, graduate medical education participants (residents/fellows), and junior faculty. His previous research has involved understanding access to and provision of ophthalmologic care throughout the world.
