Biography
Dr. Baddr Shakhsheer is a pediatric surgeon and ethicist at the University of Chicago. His research interests include ethics, autonomy, and the care of underserved populations. He is a faculty member in the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics and serves as the co-director for the ethics consult service. He also teaches and instructs undergraduate and graduate medical education.
