The hope and intention is that the music becomes both the content and context for our study, which is collective. Study in this sense refers to being together, and what happens when we are together – we will listen, we will discuss, we might dance, perhaps we will debate, and probably we will read. The record, a product of a particular moment, refers us to trajectories of history, thought, music, spiritual practice, celebration, and struggle. We will explore these together as we gather.”
