At this Director’s Lecture, political theorist Lea Ypi read and discussed a chapter from her forthcoming book on dignity. Ypi shared a personal story about her family's past as a way of exploring the moral and political meanings of dignity (both individual and collective) in connection to questions of truth, reconciliation, historical injustice, and the relationship between facts and fiction.
