Alberto Nodar Domínguez is an Associate Professor in Classics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. He has conducted research at the Institut für Papyrologie in the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg as an Alexander von Humboldt scholar (2001-2002) and at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven as part of the Catalogue of Paraliterary Papyri project (2003-2004). Since 2005 he has served as curator of the Palau Ribes papyrus collection, held at the Arxiu Històric de la Companyia de Jesús a Catalunya, in Barcelona.
