Keelin Burke
Biography
As Associate Director of Research Initiatives, Keelin Burke manages the faculty-led research projects and the Visiting Fellows program at the Neubauer Collegium. Her work includes collaborating with research teams on project plans and budgets, managing undergraduate research assistants who are supporting Neubauer Collegium research projects, and supervising the appointment and residencies of Visiting Fellows. Keelin earned a PhD in modern Irish history from the University of Notre Dame, where her research focused on gender, politics, and religion in the early 20th century. Prior to joining the Neubauer Collegium in July 2024, Keelin served as Director of Fellowships and Academic Programs at the Newberry Library, where she oversaw their robust residential fellowship program, facilitated undergraduate research seminars, and managed a scholarly seminar series.
