This reading group met to discuss the Introduction and Chapter 4 ("Black Moves: Race, Dance, and Power") from Noémie Ndiaye's new book, Scripts of Blackness (2022). Ndiaye is the Randy L. and Melvin R. Berlin Assistant Professor of Renaissance and Early Modern English Literature at the University of Chicago.
