Biography

Raul Castro Fernandez is interested in the economics and value of data. The goal of his research is to understand how to make the best use of data possible. For that, he often builds systems to share, discover, prepare, integrate, and process data, often using techniques from data management, statistics, and machine learning. Fernandez is also part of ChiData, the data systems research group at the University of Chicago.
